Amazing You - ICS Hop - Color Challenge

Welcome to another blog hop with the Inspire, Create, Share group.  This month we have been given a color challenge (Bermuda Bay, Dapper Denim, Island Indigo, Night of Navy, and Crumb Cake) while including a Sale-a-bration (SAB) item in our design.

Many of you know, I love to CASE (Copy And Stamp Everything) ideas whenever I can.  My design came from Stampin' Success Magazine, a perk of being a demonstrator!

I created two cards which are the same except I changed the colors.  I love to do this because it shows how much color can change a design.  Both use the same stamp set, Amazing You, and the Celebrate You Thinlits Dies from SAB as well as the Eclectic Layers Thinlits, Lots of Labels Framelits, and the Triple Banner Punch.

Card #1 uses Island Indigo, Crumb Cake, Whisper White, and Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper.

Card #2 uses Crumb Cake, Emerald Envy, Fresh Fig and Gold Glimmer Paper.

For both cards I used the Whisper White ink pad to color the embossed tag.  First I used the Hexagons Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (TIEF) on the tag, then I rubbed the ink pad over the raised design.  It was easy to wipe off the areas where I felt there was too much ink.  We all have tried inking the TIEF, however, then we have to clean it.  Inking the card stock was easy too - WIN!

Challenge yourself to use the same colors – and then do it again creating a copy in different colors.  Let me know how you like it!
